    Bitch about your training thread

IN this thread you will whine and complain in a cathartic manner about why you can't seem to find the time to properly train.

It's already Jany 26 and I have done a whooping 3 BJJ classes all month

I hate winter and snowboarding season and work.

    BLAHHH!!!!!!

I can't seem to get up for the 9:30 saturday morning judo classes for my life.

My teaching schedule at karate conflicts with competition & kata training at judo.

I had to give up Tuesday night Ultimate frisbee (my college sport and source of running) in order to have a free night during the week for my gf.

Moving/housing troubles have cost me a bunch of open mats & a few classes when I most needed them for stress relief this month.

I work at a country club which closes for the month of January. I have averaged 10 BJJ classes per week so far. My knees are turning into some new form of protoplasm that I've dubbed perma-bruise. It hurts to kneel, even with knee pads on, just from hitting them on the mats so many times. I guess the grass is always greener...

Snowboarding is teh ultim4te leg training. Too bad the last two seasons, along with the strong legs, I got fractured wrists and separated AC. Ideal for judo.

Anyway this is the time of the year when I train more and with more enthusiasm than ever. Nothing beats transposing the hard work on the mat into something else and reaping the results.

I'm only allowed to train once a week. Damn woman! ;) (Though there is only 1 2 hour sambo session a week anyway...)

Old and plagued by injuries. My neck can go to hell.

I am very close to getting off the plateau I've been stuck on for some time, but work and injuries have kept me off the mat for a total of five weeks.

              Argh!
Shut the hell up and train.

Unholy and unpredictable work schedule which doesn't let me travel to get to classes in time and lack of gyms in or in relatively close proximity to my work or home.

Having to sacrifice time to try to start me and bros t-shirt business and time consuming effort of photographing.

                sigh.

Well about three months ago I messed up my knee! I don't think it was anything major but I decided to take some time off from bjj. Anyway I had been hitting the weights pretty solid until I dicked up my lower abs. I thought I may have won a hernia for my efforts, but now I,m pretty sure I just pulled something. Anyway I turned 38 jan. 20 and let me tell ya! getting old is a bitch. I thank God for the outdoor channel (no redneck jokes)every day. I'm looking forward to some spring weather, so I can get out and do a little camping and fishing. Work being slow right now dosent help either. Winter days drag on a bit. There top that cry assing bitches!

I was supposed to go to Brazil 14th this month, hence I set my contract with my local MT/MMA school to that exact date. But due to some fuck up with my new health insurance and some other stuff I had to stay until now, always hoping that I can leave the next couple of days, though I went a few days after my contract expired, I haven't been training in almost two weeks. I fucking hate it, I go nuts here. I will check out some judo place and "take a intro class" tomorrow in order to do something.
End of next week I will finally be in Brazil....

I hear everyone on the Old Shit :(

years of soccer, then Football, combined with years of Martial arts and now Muay Thai has caught up to me.

I have torn my calf 3 times, same one. I also snapped the ligament off my big toe in sparring [least I was in the ring right?] this all happened on the same leg, so jumping rope is now more fun than EVER.

Also the teacher is a conditioning Nazi so being 33 isnt an excuse, least I am getting in shape now after a few months off dealing with another torn calf and having my toe ripped off [sounds better that way]

Now just got to get back into BJJ after 6 months off
