When I was twelve my Aikido instructor (shut up) was teaching a womens self defense class once a month, and I helped out. I didn't want to, we'd get beat up pretty bad. These women weren't being taught Aikido.

One class the instructor was telling the women that men sometimes grab the breasts really hard, and it hurts, so to be aware of this pain, the guys were supposed to grab the womens breasts really hard. I was in shock when I heard this. I was twelve, and this was going to be my first stop at second base.

As I approached my 'victim", I looked at her nervously, and she says "just grab my shoulders please". I was relieved (though a little dissapointed). I wasnt sure if Sensei was perving out or just being clueless, he was pretty old, and a strange guy.

The women then performed the defense move, which was a punch to the groin. I didn't have a cup. "Why aren't you wearing a cup?" she asks, but I don't answer. I eventually get up and go home, and that was the last time I ever went to Aikdo.

My old karate teacher used to teach a whole class on correctly kicking the balls. When the girls in the class could hurt my nuts through a kick shield and a cup I stopped worrying about them.

It looks like they are borrowing heavily from Impact / model mugging. However 1) I do not know why they are using the side stance. 2) The chain palm heal strikes seem to lack power. 3) In model mugging the armored guys would be saying some really nasty stuff to them to get them ready for the full out verbal assualt that often precedes a rape. The assailant is not part of the supportive environment.
