Did you compete in Micheal Hasselien's tournaments or are they having more events in south Bayern? Before it was either drive to Rheiland Pfalz or up to Berlin. There was some little ones in Garmisch but I lost track of Tapout King so I don't know how its going now.

It's getting better. Tapout King organized two events in 2006, which I went to. Haven't heard from him since. Michael Haselein hosts some reasonably big tournaments; the other organizers are the Shidokan org led by Peter Angerer, and Christoph Schadek in Karlsruhe.

I'm still training enough to win a couple of tournaments (including the German Open in BJJ and the German submission wrestling championships - which says a lot about the underdeveloped state of grappling in this country). And I'm trying to spread the gospel on a German forum where people still believe in pressure points and the merits of bunkai.
