        Sounds like pornography to me. In other words:

        Six pack = art
        Keg = pornography

          I'm a 32 year old fat bastard. I'm 6'4" 275 right now. I think ideally I should be 230 at my size/frame. I still manage to keep up with the guys in their early 20's who weigh a hell of a lot less. I do have an excellent side mount/mount though.

            275...omg. For your own health you should lose a little, do you have knee and back aches all the time?

            The biggest I've gone up against is 240 and once he has me squashed under him (usually within 5 seconds) I'm a goner. My teacher will be screaming at me to shrimp but there is no way in hell I can move. For the first time in class a few weeks ago, I managed to hold him off for a good 1.5 minutes.

              At 300lbs, the two biggest comments I get while rolling are "man your side control is tough to escape" and "wow, you move really well, you know, for a fat guy."

                We need to start a Fat Support thread. Are you two instructors by any chance?

                  And if you guys are instructors, please post tasteful nudes of yourselves snuggling bronze busts of Helio Gracie.

                      Can't I do that anyways?

                        I have to say though, Brandon, I used to be under the misconception that big guys moved slowly/didn't move well. Since I started training MA I realise how untrue that can be.

                          Like Rivington would know tasteful if it pinched him on the ass.

                            I confess, I'd prefer tasteless.

                              150 lbs

                              I have met teachers who were obese with great instruction. That being said under normal circumstances I also wouldn't train under an overweight instructor. I want someone who is going to teach me how to stay in shape as well as good martial arts. Like someone said earlier though, it could be that they are overweight because of reasons that are out of their control.

                                I didn't mention that he also has a thyroid disease. He was more-or-less able to manage his weight before injuring his leg; after that, not so much.

                                So; no, he's not some undisciplined slob, he's an expert martial artist with a combination of physical disabilities that mean he can't help gaining weight. Any other questions?
