I've advocated nunchucks for self-defense in the past. The difference between me and Phil, though, is that I was trolling and he's for real.

      Leave to ol' Phil.........

Man, people are gonna totally think twice about mugging me when I whip out some motherfucking nunchucks. Like, WATTAHH.

Seriously, he couldn't have picked a nerdier "self defense" weapon if he made a "Samurai Sword for Self Defense" booklet. Chapter one: how to cut a bitch...

Are you familiar with "Street Sword" by Phil?

EDIT: someone beat me to it.

My question is. If u gonna use Nunchucks for striking..why not jus carry a club/escrima-stick or something more ummm practical..

I mean ive seen a guy show me wrist locks executed with a nunchuck (with a non-resistant partner so I dunno the practacality)

but for strikin application for nunchucks..wouldnt using a bat or a stick be easier?? I mean IMHO people jus like nunchucks cuz itz somethin that looks exotic and has been romantasized and so they htink itz cool and deadly which causes them to use the nunchuck instead of a good ol'bat.

Of course a stick would be more practical. However, you're trying to apply reason to a paranoid delusional idiot. The man wrote a book on carrying a fucking sword in your coat for self defence ffs.

I'm not really sure how to respond to that...

I want him to do one about street applications for the spear. That would be great.
