Wow... I am not proud to say that I know a lot about this. All the jokes aside the truth is that this guy Jason Frank has stakes in this deal. How do I know that? Mr. Frank has decided to setup shop here in Houston. More specifically Atascosita which is a small town in the suburbs on the North East side of town. I've met the guy since he used to come down to my Gym to do MMA classes either in his Viper or in his Hummer. I know this because every single brand name on NoSubmit.com had a sticker on his Hummer which just so happens to be the home of "Jesus Didn't Tap." I saw the thing coming out of the Gym one day and gawked at for a few seconds. Naturally I did research about it when I got home.

There was a section on the site that I can't seem to find anymore that explained the whole, "Jesus Didn't Tap" brand. Basically someone's newborn was born with a very grave disease, the type doctors tell you that you wont survive. Some how she did. To commemorate that someone came up with the whole, "Jesus Didn't Tap" line. Which in turn became their new brand name.

I've seen at least one guy wearing the "Jesus Didn't Tap" shirt at the gym. The worst was one of our regulars whose an instructor over at Frank's dojo come in a "Jesus Didn't Tap" Gi which looks like a Cobra Kai Gi with sleeves. That's the story on how I learned about "Jesus Didn't Tap," from a guy whose seen the gear up close, and witnessed the advertisement first hand.

Intereting, the Jesus Didn't Tap shirt I saw a year or so ago that ripped off the Tapout logo was being worn by a woman in a flower shop in the North Shore part of Houston (i.e. Da East Side between Galena Park and Channel View). I wonder if that was an early version and they dropped the Tapout logo to avoid being sued.

I guess I can see why. "Jesus didn't tap" is a pretty messed up statement on a lot of levels. Don't worry though, no one is stupid enough to buy that brand and they won't last long.
