Originally posted by RivingtonIncidentally, what does "Jesus didn't tap" actually mean? Seriously. The aphorism seems to suggest that one shouldn't tap, but what is gained from that. And how did Jesus not tap; in what situation was he in that some metaphorical tapping could have occurred?
As a slogan, it seems rather silly and empty to me. What is the idea expressed in the slogan?
How exactly he failed to give up is unclear, as he did allow himself to be crucified, but that's a whole other debate.
Jesus didn't tap because he never gave up.

Jesus didn't tap, he allowed him self to get pwned to prove a point... I don't know what that point is but if it was to show us he was a puss then mission accomplished. I could get even further into why I don't even believe he ever existed but that's another story.
EDIT: In b4 ZOMG ZEETGEEST!!!
2nd EDIT: In b4 religious tolerance lecture and faith bashing.
If 'Jesus didn't tap' got really well known then every dedicated christian doing Judo, BJJ, or catch would be maimed or dead.
