I got my name a longgggggg time ago (freshman in high school). I had a couple of Pakistani friends (I'm half Persian) and everyone referred to us as "the tan kids" on account of our skin colour. So I soon got the nickname Tan Halen because I play guitar.

I guess I thought Kai sounded kind of plain all by itself... so I added my rank.

Mine's an adjective likening someone in mannerisms or character to a character/historical figure I was deeply impressed by, having read of Greek philosophy.
Lord Krishna said: I am terrible time the destroyer of all beings in all worlds, engaged to destroy all beings in this world; Of those heroic soldiers presently situated in the opposing army, even without you none will be spared.

My name is a reference to the British comic book character Marvelman (known as Miracleman in the States). I used to frequent the Ain't it Cool News chatroom as simply "Miracleman," and I wanted to use it for my e-mail accounts; however, "Miracleman" was already taken, so I stuck "king" at the beginning (to make myself feel more important) and got "kingmiracleman." It was that or "miracleman34221."

I've been meaning to change my name from "kingmiracleman" to "Kid Miracleman," the name of Miracleman's former sidekick who grew up to become a mass murdering psychopath. That, or just "Miracleman," I don't recall if that handle's already taken.

My great grandmother on my dad's side was a scary old Mexican lady. Her hair was like four feet long and formed a giant white bun on her five foot tall body. She had hard hands from making tortillas the old fashioned way for a very long time. She was quick to hit her offspring with knifehand strikes. They called her "manos de piedra," because her hands were like stone. I'm not sure if it was derived from Roberto Duran or not (Side not: Roberto Duran is awesome). I elbowed one of these grandchildren who knew her once and it was pretty painful I guess I kind of got the nickname codos de piedra (elbows of stone).

Bahuyuddha is a Pali (and possibly also Sanskrit) word which means combat using the arms as weapons ("bahu" = arm, "yuddha" = combat). It is the root of the Thai word "pahuyut", which is an older word for the art of unarmed combat. It also gets called "Muay Boran" (ancient boxing), which nowadays has been simplified into modern Muay Thai.

Pretty cheesy, I know. I just liked the obscurity of it, and I couldn't sit there deliberating about what to call myself all night.

From the movie "Bio Dome" with Paulie Shores. For the older bullies that are about to post a quick "lulz poli shorz suks!" let me just give you a quick 'Fuck you!' and know that I acknowledge the fact that he's not funny anymore and that "Bio Dome" was just a pretty good movie, not amazing, but not bad.

I started a mambo line to the song "You can dance if you wanna" when my friend had a boom box in the park we hang out at. Much lulz were had that day. Ever since then Squerlli kinda stuck and I've been called Squerlli for a little over 3 years now.
