It was kind of funny, but if they didn't make anybody look bad and/or foolish, it's hard to say they owned anyone. I guess it depends on how you see the behavior of Mikey, Kempo and the rest. If you think accepting a challenge and showing up makes them look bad, you'd say they got owned.

If you think accepting a challenge and showing up is pretty natural behavior and it makes sense to do that, then you won't see what's so embarassing about it.
