It looks liek the only thing that got proven in this case is that Bullshido WILL come and test your claims. If the occasional douche wants to cry wolf for kicks, what do we care. All it does is reinforce that we will do it.

For this to be a truly epic and successful troll job, there would need to be some sort of funny or ironic result. Something that would demonstrate that we were not what we said.

IMO, this prank just ended up like 99.9% of internet challenges...lots of keyboard posturing and no fight as a payoff. Only difference is that this time one party was acting the part and the other was actually interested in fighting. I actually find the prank by ACA to be really funny, but I hardly think it makes anyone on BS look like an idiot. What part of this was retarded? Asking a "BJJ Blackbelt" for his credentials? Setting up a couple of fights when said "BJJ Blackbelt" issued a challenge? Showing up for said challenge? I cannot believe that questioning credentials is retarded. I cannot believe that stepping up to a challenge is retarded. I cannot believe that actually showing up to the challenge was retarded, so I'm not seeing your point at all. Or are you just saying that it isn't worth it to go after small-time frauds?

You got pranked. It was a good prank. It would have been an epic prank, except for the fact that it looks like ACA have been at this for months, with various failed scams, before they finally pulled this one off.

That said, there is something wrong with someone who will put that much effort into a prank, again and again and again. Either it's really boring in their moms basement, or someone on BS stole their lunch money in grade school.

Who was wearing tapout again? If I recall correctly, Mikey's guys were wearing Redboy shirts, Ming and Steve had Bodog shirts, and I had my Kaju shirt on. I forget what LI GUY was wearing, I'll have to check the vid, but I don't think it was Tapout. If he was, I'm sure I woulda made fun of him :)

Personally I train in old shitty t shirts and shorts. Lol at spending loads on branded stuff just to look like your heros when its only going to get ripped up anyway. Nobody serious that I know trains in that shit, only sponsored fighters do. Its like wearing a patch covered gi when you are not part of a team.

Bullshido did not pull this "shit", the ACA guys did (admittedly a good job by them). They created a fake BJJ coach, offered up a challenge to a Bullshido member on his myspace page. They spent a month or so setting this up...with fake forum, fake school website, characters, etc...all to what end? To offer up a challenge, have it accepted, and then laugh because they were fake all along? Kind of a weak payoff for all that work IMO. All it proved is that some people will step up to fight if asked.

BTW..the fight was not to be against the "old guy", but against guys supposedly from his stable of fighters. There was not "a pack of like 20 people" there. It was 2 guys who thought they were fighting that day, myself (the ref), 1 Bullshido member (timekeeper), another BS member (witness), a guy to videotape, and 2 or 3 friends of the dudes who were fighting. Hardly a mob scene.

I just browsed a few of Al Perry's old posts on his forum. This one is most interesting and puts an end to his BJJ black belt myth. He probably should of deleted them :)

Thank you for the question. Firstly I think that there is only Jiu-Jitsu not old jiu-jitsu or new jiu-jitsu or whatever. It's all jiu-jitsu to me. I hope that other Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu guys are ok with me saying that but as a Jiu-Jitsu black belt that is how I feel. Jiu-Jitsu is a constant even though there are different blends or Ryu and whatever guys try to say we are different from the rest ..because. And related arts like Judo and AikiDo are much like all the forms of Jiu-jitsu especially after black belt.

But if I understand your question correctly you are asking about the training differences? I have only been training the art for a mere 17 years which is barely a breath in the life of the art. Jiu-jitsu goes back hundreds maybe thousands of years and I am sure its changed a lot in that time. I know that jiuj-jitsu was taught differently when I started compared to how I pass it on today. But that is maybe just because every teacher is different. But also that many things have changed like the equipment and MMA. But the art itself is still only jiu-jitsu if that helps.

Are you serious? couldn't you have checked a fake bjj coach pretty easily and written them off as a bunch of losers? I don't see the need to go and beat on them because you suspect they may be telling a few lies. Far more damaging to post the info up on a decent mma forum (eg mma.tv, mmafighter, subfighter etc)
