shoot, I completely missed what happened to this thread. ironlurker sent me a PM with Sensei's Al clip and t-magnum posts on it, but failed to see it on time.

At least you guys got a sambo seminar, so it wasn't that much of a loss. :P

LOL i love how he does 3 reps and is done with what maybe 30lbs. on the bar total. hell i do more reps then that with that weight and i suck with freeweights and weight maybe 1/2 or 1/3 of what he does.

To his credit, he's using bands, and the 3-rep range is for DE work. Having said that, a man over 200lbs should handle more than that on a 3-rep range with band, and for DE work...

... and having said that, he's almost 60, so he gets credit for that. I've seen people losing a lot of strenght once they get close to 60, so keep that in mind.

As stated before, your troll really is lame. You convinced alot of people that's for sure, however what have you manager to do? Waste a little time and money, but in the end, all you've managed to do was get 3 or 4 "real" martial artists in a room for training.
