This is actually pretty funny- notice in the "225" deadlifting vid the bar is more horizontal to the camera, so you can get a rough estimate of the plates on it (they could well be 4 X 45s + the 45 lb bar).
Now look at the 275 and 315 vids- notice the bar is now perpendicular to the camera?. Yeah, it makes sense to set the camera up that way if you want someone to critique your form, but with the um, total darkness on the plates (you can watch and see how he's setting the camera up very deliberately), the suckage in terms of his massive lifts vs. his bodyweight, his bullshido, and the change in position of the camera (the 225 you could see the plates, then he adjusts it so you can only see the bar end on), I call bullshit.
Also, watch him gather his chi

I know guys at the gym I lift at years older than him that don't go "old coot"= wow look at me.
So, if watching youtube gives you a BJJ blackbelt, then I guess faking deadlifting 315 pounds makes you a "power lifter". Even if he did (which I doubt due to camera bullshit), he's a total fraud if he says it makes him a "powerlifter"
Even if he weighed 240 actually deadlifting a little over 300 would make him a midde-of-the-road beginner IMHO.

Just got back home. Ah well, went as expected I suppose.
I have some footage I'll post shortly of us standing around waiting for them to show around 1:45. The other guy filming apparently has the clock filmed as we walked in, in addition to the camera's internal timestamp.
Funny how they try to claim we are no-show while we are standing in the gym talking to the owner.

oh, and the first submission I ever got on a guy while rolling was a crappling ankle lock, since I didn't know where to put my legs... but he didn't know how to defend it.Last edited by attakmint; 12/02/2007 4:48pm, .
