I've been taking Judo for about a month already and there is a competition coming up in a few months time.
I want to take part in it but as a white belt, Newaza techniques are off limits and that means that i'm at a disadvantage because my throws aren't that great but my Newaza can par that of a brown belt.
My question is, what are the ethical implications of putting on a belt (for competition) that allows me the use of newaza?(Supposing any instructor would even allow it)
I suppose its also against the rules in Judo, huh?
Or should i just suck it up and go train like everyone else does and earn my belt?
