The part where you mentioned lat sao with a third-grader, I realize you were talking about a third level but I remember something from my 6 months of WT; I was 18 and the youngest guy there. They actually had a 15-year old come in for a trial lesson who seemed hooked. I remmeber thinking (at the time) that he was lucky to start so early but then I seemed he never joined. I asked sometime later what happened to him and I heard someone mention in passing that he was "too young" to absorb the scientific principles....

Quite right. You wouldn't put a 15 year old kid through a Physics degree would you? WT is advanced physics.

Classic, I appreciate how the guy is thrilled about his training and feels successful at it where he fails at life in general. Damn that is good stuff. I'll have to read it in more detail when I have the time.

I kid you not something to that effect was on the school's website. Something like we know other WC schools may teach biu tze and chum kyu early but we don't because you need basic algebra and geometry before you can move up to differential calculus, etc.

I'm trying to figure out what particular parts of this are true, and what's just spin for hilarity.

                      I'm failing completely.

All the diarists need to collaborate with Phrost on a coffee table book with all these entries... christ, it'd go on tour... you guys would have to do signings and personalized messages to 30-year-old soccer moms... then comes the oprah book club

The next part of the story (sparring with a boxer) is the same point in which my wing chun wet dream fell down around me.
