    Starting over...

So heres the deal... I've been out of the martial arts for way too long and i want to get back in. I took Karate before from a Mcdojo-ish place and went all the way to brown belt, one under black belt in this school. I was thinking of BJJ but can't find any schools close enough to me. I was also considering Judo. I live in Pennsylvania and I'm having a hard time finding places, this is because im not close enough to philly to drive there and thats where i find most schools, so can anyone help thats a little closer to my area. I live about an hour and a half north of Philly in Allentown. Also any other suggestions of styles that might be good in the area would be appreciated.... thanks.

    Google maps/local didn't help??

Pro-boxing oughta do you some real good real fast. Keep practicing your low kicks to the thighs (if they taught you that much).

A quick search found several dozen karate places. There have got to be judo clubs, too; judo is pretty ubiquitous. You could try calling some karate dojos and asking if they know of any.

Berks County BJJ is right outside of Reading in Sinking Springs. Not real close to Allentown but much closer than Philly. There is also a Judo class at the YMCA in Fleetwood run by a 3rd dan named Cheryl Opperman. Fleetwood is much closer to Allentown than Sinking Springs.

Use this info to look the shit up. I ain't going to do all the work for you.

This place has an MMA program with some grappling. On the surface it seems sort of McDojoish, but you never know until you check it out.

P.S. Didn't want to come off as a dick in my last post but it's Sunday and I'm lazy.

This is a BJJ place in easton. Looks like they are affiliated with Steve Maxwell, who is a Renzo Gracie BB, I believe.

No problem. Berks County BJJ is a good school. The rates are $75 a month unlimited attendance or $15 a class if you can only make it occasionally. If you decide on the per class fee, they only charge you up to the $75 monthly rate.
