Bas Rutten endorses Krav Maga !?!

Okay, Bas Rutten says that Krav Maga is all kinds of teh kick ass R347. I just read the foreward last night. Unless of course he was misquoted. Does anyone know about this?
& most important, what does it mean if Bas Rutten fully endorses Krav Maga? No one else's opinion matters if that's the case. Krav Maga is now the Supreme Ultimate. I'm worried, to be perfectly honest.

Yes, Bas Rutten loves Krav Maga and talks about it a lot. Also, he's good friends with Darren Levine and goes with him on Krav Maga tours to lend his name to the martial art. Hopefully, Darren is spending his time learning from Rutten, it'd help make Krav Maga a much better martial art.

Both are as far as I can tell blatant bullshido, and both teach the "Kata Dante" as a super-deadly technique. Yes Bas is a fan of Krav Maga. Perhaps not all of it, but then again, Krav is one of those arts with many substandard instructors out there proliferating BS.

Bas is an avid follower and teacher of self defense training, and he feels that in tangent with an MMA style regimen, the Krav Maga tools can be practiced, utilized and perfected for real self defense. Gratuitous obsessions with eye gouging, biting and all that is replaced with a love affair of pre-emptive elbows, knees, and a healthy dose of practical knife and gun defense.

I've only seen tidbits of what they're doing so far, but so far so good IMO.
