Q. Ever heard of Grandmaster Dennis Decker?
A. Well you should have because he's "He is renowned throughout the Martial Arts community as one of the top martial artists to have ever lived.". He's dead now but his style lives on!

And he hasn't created just one new style; that would be too normal for a "Great Grandmaster".... he was two:
1) Chi Lin Kempo http://www.chilinkenpo.com/clk.htm
2) Chi Lin Pai Gung Fu http://www.gungfuonline.com/ http://www.chi-lin.net/
And whilst most grandmaster are content with say 5 animals, Great Grandmaster Decker had 15:
1. Tiger
2. Leopard
3. Eagle
4. Dragon
5. Monkey
6. Crane
7. Mantis
8. Butterfly
9. Snake
10. Lion
11. Bear
12. Phoenix
13. Falcon
14.Unicorn
15. Horsey
Butterfly
This style is one of the hidden animal systems within Chi Ling Pai.
Many of the techniques are in other styles as well but are rarely shown.
The butterfly fighting techniques were designed for fighting while handcuffed or restrained.
Butterfly Techniques usually have the palms crossed at the wrists and can work into head and neck manipulations.
Elongated Butterfly extends the lead arm and places the rear palm up on the forearm where it can slide off assisting the front hand in attack and defense.
Strikes mostly involve palms and punches.
In Chi Ling Pai Gung Fu, techniques like Butterfly and Elongated Butterfly are basics in the system. The style also has a Butterfly Form.
