What brought you to Bullshido?

I answered a question on physical conditioning for MA training on an odd little forum. The moderator answered with the most ignorant and inane drivle I have seen in a long time and banned me so I couldn't answer. This annoyed me, but what annoyed me more was that the lies, contrivnaces and out and out BS he was telling others was at times just plain dangerous.
He knows I own him on this subject and deliberatley avoids me, the hipocritical little coward. I could handle that if he'd stop misinforming people.

Well I tracked him here, but I've read here that I'm not allowed to tease him, so I'm just watching and waiting for now. Someone has to unleash on him before his advice gets someone killed.

That aside, I've known of this place for years and thought, what the hell, let's go see what all the fun's about :-)

You're not allowed to tease who? You can go off on anybody you want just keep it in the correct areas and be careful who you choose to gong sau.

Bored at work experience. Found some less than kind words on Karate which I thought was awesome at the time. Started a thread asking why Karate wasn't liked and I thrived on the insults and pissing contests. Then I realised there is a load of great stuff here.

I did nothing but lurk and watch videos for nearly three years AFTER I registered before I started posting. The videos were great, and I got to feel all superior laughing at all the wits on here talking about TKD and bullshit training methods and say, "Tee hee! I'm glad they're not talking about me!"

Then one day I realized that yes, they were talking about me. They were damn near calling me by name. This site is the direct reason my style field changed to "lapsed" about a month ago.

I found this place while searching for information on Judo. At the time I was (very briefly) posting on Judoinfo.org but found the place to be stale and uninteresting. Soon after I joined, Stick and I realized that we go to the same school, train the same gym, and live about 100 yards from each other. But I keep posting because the site has a good mixture of serious and silly, everything from in depth investigations to Phil Elmore photo-shop thread.

At the time I was a chunner, a friend of mine said he found a video of Emin vs Cheung on the internet, where Cheung was getting beat. Being the loyal nutrider, I came to this site and watched the vid, horrified.

I spent a couple years trying to justify my training and prior experience in TKD. Joined the whole heather graham movement where I thought BJJ and MMA were filled with steroid hawking homosexuals from the trailer park.

After years of introspection and reflection on where I've been, and why, and where I want to be in the future, I am happy to report that I am now a card carrying member of the steroid hawking homosexuals who live in the trailer park.

I googled my art and found a review here listing everything wrong with it, everything missing, every reason why I should switch to one of the "lofty 3" on here (bjj, mt, mma). Instead of listening to the masses I decided to try something different: I encouraged my sifu to remedy some of these problems and now I love my art more than ever.
