So did they not train before and that was the controversy?

(01:29:39 PM) Aesopian: Most of Sherdog grappling, including all the moderators, tore into them for being attention whores who make shitty instructionals.
(01:30:00 PM) Aesopian: I tore into them for insulting the women who actually train.
(01:30:21 PM) Aesopian: So they challenged my sister to a fight and challenged me to fight someone from the gym they didn't go to yet.
(01:31:20 PM) Aesopian: I returned their challenge by saying I'd fight both of them at the same time while blaring the song Ping Island/Lightning Strike Rescue Op.
(01:33:31 PM) Shuma-Gorath: With special guest appearance by Eddie Van Halen.
Those videos are terrible. Don't go around giving female combat sports compeititors a bad name and then come on here and try to pass as any kind of legitimate instructionals. If you were sincere supporter of grappling you would know that does nothing but dimish the character of the sport.

Its a shame to see females who actually play up to the terrible perception that girls jiu jitsu is something like soft core porn, it just feeds into the schovinistic opinion that girls aren't legimate competitors and shouldn't be taken seriously, when gals like Kira Gracie are just as talented as thier male counter parts.

I sincerely hope that if you are a true fan and enthusiast of jiu jitsu that you will reconsider producing such stereotypical and frivilous material and perhaps refocuse your efforts on something that would geniuinely help (and realistically portray) womens grappling.

              From a deleted thread:
"Let me just say this. Please don't reply to this post saying how we are only going to train for one or two classes and give up. Please don't say we are worried about "breaking a nail." Those of you that say that really don't know us, or our dedication. Believe it or not we have been big fans of this sport for a long time. Keep your predictions about our future training to yourself and give us the benefit of the doubt. You can all critique our techniques because they are "sloppy" but we will be improving that in future videos by having a well qualified technical advisor. And Aesopian, how much does your sister weigh? I think we may have to do a challenge match over here in Orlando a couple months from now. And if your rubber guard is so good, you can test it out on some of our male grapplers and prove that you deserve to be the almighty moderator."

(01:50:50 PM) Aesopian: It is rude to ask a woman's weight, and as a perfect gentleman, I will not answer.

              P.S. SHOW ME UR TITZ
(01:51:34 PM) Aesopian: I will accept your challenge on three conditions:

              1. The match will be against both MMA Girls.

              2. At the same time.

              3. The song Ping Island/Lightning Strike Rescue Op will be played loudly until the end of the match.

These rules make far more sense, considering I have no issues with the (as yet unnamed) gym (that you don't actually train at yet) or any of its members (of which you are not).

I do however find it tragicomedic that two blonde college chicks are so offended by the internet that they'll issue challenge matches to strangers (on behalf of people they don't know).

And that is something I'm willing to fight for.

I'm trying to avoid making the almost obligatory, "I'd love to grapple with them" comment because what they're doing perpetuates a stereotype of Girls Grappling = Pseudo-Lesbian Movie Clips. Their physical appeal shouldn't be an issue unless they show up in a Girls Gone Wild video...
