This post is spot on, period. Here's a question Boyd, why do you suppose Kyra posed for those pictures? Was it to bring respectability to women's grappling?

Since the irony of those pictures was missed, the entire reason for them being posted is to show that "OMG WOMENZ POSE NEKKID" long before those two blondes put their videos together. And by people much higher up the ladder than them. And the little rants by Boyd and Aesopian are a couple of years too late.

I kinda figured that the whole "sex sells" approach would be used to push women's MMA when/if it ever got off the ground, but hoped that I was wrong. But in the end the powers that be will do what it takes to push their product. And it's not like we wouldn't hear just as many "I'd like toget her in a rear mount" type comments left and right even if they didn't.

I figured they'd cut out the middle man and just fill the octagon with Jello when that happened.

It's not often that the floor is referred to as a middle man.

Are you sure you're a male?

You do realize you're berating males for displaying characteristic male behavior, don't you? Keep letting this kind of trivial shit bother you and get back to me in ten years with your EKG. We'll have a few laughs while you pop your pills for hypertension.

So basically, If this were on MABS, the conclusion would be "McDojo Marketing, but not Bullshido anymore, because they aren't claiming it's anything that it's not."? Which has always been a lame out, IMO.

I would like to welcome all the BJJ guys and girls whose choice of style has previously been above reproach to my pain. Soon you will all be saying stuff like, "No my school's not like that, we train live in t3h r34l BJJ!"

The thing is there is a time and a place for everything. Men are men, and they are supposed to oogle on women, certainly not in fucking church or in their presence (unless they want to), or in a moderated forum. This forum is neither, and the topic wasn't even close about political correctness to begin with.

The same goes for women. Every single women in this planet dolls herself, sometimes a little, and sometimes too much, to get male attention. Its our fucking nature. It is only what, where, when and how we do it that determines if its right, wrong or simply devoid of morals (meaning neither right or wrong.) Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get a grip with reality and become a little bit more acquainted with the nature of human sexuality.

When Krya Gracie poses in a magazine, it's bad, but when St. Pierre, liddel, others do it, it's not?

No one looks at male MMA atheletes and goes, "I'd arm his bar" etc?

I've got news for you guys

There are people who are buying men's health and not reading the articles.

This is also not a locker room - just because something is ALLOWED doesn't mean it's a good fucking idea. I would personally like it more if more women actually read and posted then I would like to hear the same 6 dick jokes I've been hearing since 3rd grade.

What a train wreck. This whole thread should have ended with the reply we got from the mma girls.

I'm a total mysogynistic asshole, yet I agree completely with Boyd. Every female in every BJJ class I've ever been in have been self-conscious enough without being reminded LOL GRAPPLING LOOKS LIKE SEX. I'm not saying some women don't bring it upon themselves (MMA Girls, Kyra Gracie to some degree), but a lot really don't appreciate this kind of horseshit.

edit:apparently gay male wrestling jokes bad, gay female wrestling humor good, according to the rep I got from this post. The irony is lost on some people.

This original point of this thread has been long finished.

The MMA girls are big MMA fans, are now training in BJJ at a reputable school because they enjoy sport, AND they are using their obvious physical attribute to get a clothing line off of the gorund. They do not profess to be BJJ or grappling instructors and have openly admitted to all of the above.

Conclusion - No Bullshido, just a couple of college students trying to make some extra cash.

Now Boyd, what the fuck are you talking about. Your post and rants of "teh womenz are peeples too you guyz!!!" needs to be placed in a separate thread so this one does not get more cluster fucked than you have already made it.
