All this ing un reading has made me curious

Okay i've read through almost all of the ing un threads that have ever been made in the last 2 years. And truthfully it's made me extremely curious as to what it would be like to try out the _un for myself.

There are only 2 kwoons in tucson one being Sijo Don Grose's Ving Tsun academy( Don is an inductee into the world black belt hall of fame and was inducted by none other than my current sijo Adriano Emperado. And is also the president of the IKF)

And the second school is Augustine Fong's wing chun academy.( after some reading it seems Master Fong is one of the best chunners around...go figure.)

so i guess i have 2 pretty good ing un masters in my little big city of Tucson. I have just got to try this stuff out first hand to truly form my own opinion on it from actual experience.

Maybe ill spend a week at both to get a good handle on what both are like. Seeing who the main instructors are maybe it wont be as bad as some other former unners experiences. But then again who knows.

Wish me luck in my curiousity inspired endevour!

I'm not familiar with the _ing _un scene in AZ, no. But I am familiar with the clusterfuck that is _ing _un in general.

I'm curious, do you want to go to these classes, to find out how crappy it really is? Because the true level of suck might not become fully apparent for months or years. So how about you and some buddies form a 'sleeper cell', training in the Chun for a few years, but keeping up your real training in secret. Then, when you are declared sifus and about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, you can bring the whole house of cards crashing down... from the inside!

Are you over 220lbs? of muscle? _ing_un works for such people. As long as they only use it to fight drunk people who are much smaller than them, and who try 'living dead' zombie style slo-mo rugby tackles, or throw highly telegraphed haymakers.

That's big enough. You should take the chun, then after a while get a job in security, then post endlessly about how effectively it is, and how it works for you, how it's useful in crowded clubs yadda yadda yadda
Excuse me, I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Anyway, good on you for subjecting yourself to the horrorshow that is the chun, for the good of mankind/Bullshido.

this should be something all bullshidoers who rip on chunners with no prior first hand experience ort knowlede of the art should do.

Yeah your probably right about me having to spend at least a month in both to get a good diagnoses. I may not be recognizeable after im done.

*edit* Who knows...i may fall so far from the light i might not be retrievable from the unners after a month in both.

Don't worry. Both schools will tell you they have the real _ing _un, and that the others don't know the secret techniques. You will be in such a state of confusion, that they will be unable to assimilate you, or access your bank details for your 10-year contract.

                            lol

The Ving Tsun school is 50$ a month with no contracts

the Wing Chun school is 75$ a month but with alot more classes a week. with monthly packages.

so i think its equal in money for amount of class time per week.

Please don't do it. Think of your family, friends, other relatives; think of your dignity. Even if you live on a farm, I guarantee you'll have never seen such a stinking pile of horse shit before. I've done ChingWun, I survived. Not many do. I was the lucky one.
