    This seems like B.S.

I am an admitted Grappling n00blet, however this clip to me seems ill-advised (i.e crappling). Maybe some of you who are more versed in grappling can tell me if it is bullshido or not. This is done by my homeboyz from Blacktaoist.com of whom one of their members I converse with on a Kung-fu group. Anyway, here is the clip..

    How do armbar?

But yes, this guy is the correct, BJJ doesn't work against nut crackers.

I am a sub par 3rd year white belt...and if he tried any of that shit on me, odds are, I would be in the full mount dropping bombs and going for an arm bar from mount.

        SWEEP CITY!

Seriously, this is a "How do armbar" if I ever saw one.

Isn't his "side-stance" a golden opportunity for an omoplata? I'm pretty new to BJJ and don't understand the submission terribly well, but it looks that way to me (tbh I'd just try to take his back from there).

Everything he does set's him up for something else. Even his "knee to the anus" crap leaves that side of him body open to a sweep. His moving to the side leaves him open to the "3 basic" guard submission, armbar, triangle, and omoplata plus sweeps using all three of these moves. Speaking as a black man, this is what happens when you have fools who watched a few episodes of UFC Unleashed, some TUF, and maybe a few Ultimate Fight Nights and think they know how the fight game works. The only way to remove the delusion is to have said individual attend a legit MMA school and do some MMA sparring with some of the students and see what happens when he tries that. But then again, he would never agree because why be a quarterback when you can be an armchair quarterback.

hell...the guy on bottom isn't even trying to do anything and the "know-it-all" almost sweeps himself toward the end. (1:43)

Well remember I got this from a Kung-fu site.. So, yeah.. and alot of things in their kung-fu game would get owned by kyokushin,Muay Thai, and MMA strikers. It just makes me giggle (and shake my head) when i watch this.

                      Tee Hee....

                      "How do Anus Strike"

                      What a dumbass.

                      1. It would basically be a nut strike in the closed gaurd. This is against UFC rules. That is why he doesnt see it done.

                      2. Please, please , please lift one knee up like that in my closed gaurd. EL SWEEPO.....then it is my turn to anus strike.

                      3. These guys are morons. If he put that lazy ass forearm in someones face it would most likely turn into an armbar that he would soon regret.

Step one: base you upper body on one forearm across you opponent.
Step two: try to knee them by picking up one leg thus basing on one knee.

*Question before getting to Step three, Have you ever seen a two legged table?*

Step three: Roll onto your back and give your opponent the full mount.

Wasn't someone here advocating a knee to the tailbone as well?

The second he took his foot back like that for the strike it would be "Sweep city welcomes those that cant maintain base" :)

EDIT: Ive added a "crappling" tag to that video.

That would be Dr TT in the can't bite your way out of a triangle thread.

I always like these example on "how to really hurt someone who never train the guard and stupidly got you in guard but doesn't respond"
