Well, I was five in 1984. There might be some video of me being five somewhere, I mostly fished and whitewashed fences and shot things with my slingshot and listened to proto-punk. If you like, I might have some home video of me in 1984 building a pillow fort. If I posted that, would it make Emin look better?

Ignoring the fact that I posted video of one of wing chun's top guys, so rather then my dangerous-for-his-age-and-size-but-all-around-nice-guy instructor, I should get to post say, Rhadi Ferguson or David Douillet in rebuttal, I don't actually know my current instructor well enough to ask him to put his home videos on the internet to prove a point to a useless, top-knotted bullshidoka, but if you like, a cursory youtube search for judo will turn up a century of alive training you may compare to wing chun at your leisure.

If he has any home video of his matches, it's probably on super-8 owing to his age, so IF he does, IF he'll give it too me, IF I can get it converted and IF he's confortable with it being on the internet, I might upload it, but the number of steps in that process and my intense apathy toward you probably mean it would be quicker for us to just have a Deadly Internet Challenge instead.

If trolls come on here, and show no sign of engaging in reasoned debate, then so be it. Flame the hell out of them. I do. But if they actually try to argue and stick within the bounds of logic and reason, swearing and mocking them isn't gaining you or anyone else any ground.

I would happily fight any of them, just as I'd happily spar damned near anyone (except for the iceman....I think he'd break me).

That video oddly reminded me of one of the Kempo instructors I once knew who loved to do demos like that (yes he did do WC a bit on the side). And yes I do believe that video was 100% unchoreographed because I could do the same damn thing if I wanted to, no WC training involved at all. All I needed to do was watch the other instructor pull out crap like that in demonstrations like it was the deadliest shit on earth, and I could mimic it perfectly on uke's of my own. It even got to the point unfortunately that I thought I was doing something productive, and that I was in fact amazingly capable of dishing out punishment at such speed that no one would be able to take me.....until I got punched in the face, hard of course.

The flurries and salvos of videos like this only demonstrate what happens when a person basically runs into another persons fist (as the uke does in every attack there) I have no doubt that the uke was trying his hardest to hit the guy. In "punching in" back in my Kempo days, I would throw my punch as hard and as fast as I physically could at my instructor and he would effortlessly deflect/evade it, and then pound the ever loving shit out of me to the gasps and awe of the students.

Unfortunately all you end up learning is how to look cool to gullible and unknowledgable spectators, and at worst, building up a false sense of security. The moment someone doesn't commit on an attack, or decides to grab you, OR takes the first few chain hits in stride and continues to pound your face in back, your world is gonna fall apart. Luckily for me, I got my dose of reality in the dojo and not on the street.
