I love to watch the SAW (Submission Arts Wrestling) vids on Youtube, I guess it's more Catch Wrestling based but I see lots of figure four arm and leg holds, neck cranks and Judo-based chokes, even attacking kyusho and nerve points with the chin and elbows in order to make openings. Even some traditional JJJ wristlocks in there.

To the guy who necro'd this thread: On the issue of takedowns, I can't help but feel that (at least anecdotally) a lot of jiujiteros overplay the simplicity of wrestling techniques and over estimate the difficulty of judo techniques, to their detriment (cause both result in pretty crappy takedown games). Listen to a good wrestling coach talk about the complexity of setting up a any wrestling technique, and it is on par with the difficulty of any other standup art (I.e. Judo). I think the difference comes in what BKR and MT said in the risk of positional loss should a wrestling technique not be perfectly completed vs. Judo, along with an element of cultural norms that ar part of the BJJ scene (I.e. Primarily N.American based, influenced by MMA) which makes wrestling fit in more than Judo.
Where I do BJJ, nobody complains about hard throwing as "slams". A slam would be picking a guy up in guard and doing Daki Age...

As far as getting your game together, check the rules for the comps you plan to attend. And then make sure you do some BJJ beforehand.

Here's a thought I had. Given the current rule sets of Judo and Greco-Roman wrestling, I think Greco ought to be re-branded "no-gi Judo". Maybe it can stay in the Olympics that way.

Not unless they allow leg to leg attacks in which case Greco-Roman becomes freestyle.

I forgot they took out leg to leg attacks. Though Greco has Par Terre which freestyle lacks and lacks arm to leg attacks which freestyle has.
