    Were you a big strong or at least strong for your size athelete in high School and College? Did you excel at several sports? If you were a phenominal, you might be able to do it sooner, or if you've fought in a ton of street fights in dangerous areas.

    I could be wrong, but I think Brad Imes from TUF 2 had only been training a year before he got started fighting.

    I'm 22 years old and do brazilian jiu jitsu when I can. I want to take martial arts seriously, then start fighting professionally. Is 1 year training enough to start fighting?
