Anyone seeing the point here? I doubt it, so I will explain. YOu can do a Pics of Disaster thread on ANY art. It's easy to make fun of something that you don't understand, don't like, etc. Especially with pictures that can be taken out of context with what was happening at the time.

The difference is if someone did a "Pictures of Quality" thread the Aikido one would be empty.

I never said that a Pic of Quality would include anything. I basically said you can find even the "best" at moments of less than stellar quality.

Some arts deserve to be mocked more than others. Aikido is one of them, and I quit Aikido 2 months before I was going for my Brown.

I know exactly what's going on in those picts. None of it is good.

BJJ is gay looking and every picture looks gay but the art works.

Aikido is unrealistic intellectual masturbation, often practiced by dellusional hippies, and as it its taught and practiced by 90% of Aikidoka sucks.

If you don't do Aikido, why did you pick the Aikido pics of disaster over the umpteen other pics of disaster threads to post your (lack of) point?

Your point is way off the mark. Most of us have studied/do study Aikido. I understand fully what is happening in the pictures I post and I revel in the chance to make fun of them. I have posted many pictures of what I thought were good Aikido techniques/practitioners. These people aint them.
