Originally from the Long Island Ninjutsu Centre's demo team. The powerbomb and hurricanrana are actually executed pretty well, just bugger all to do with traditional Japanese MA. Unless old-school puroresu counts.
Don't believe me?
Check out his _A Beginner's Guide to Ninpo_ which has zero to do with Ninpo training and a whole lot to do with his attempt tp package some sports psychology, NLP and Steven Seagal nutriding with the best Long Island Guido author's photo ever taken.
Then check out his "Complete Education for the Serious Martial Arts Business Owner" video where you'll learn how to make your dojo a more lucrative McDojo by teaching children three years old or even younger.
Finally drop into one of his dojos or one of the dojos he has sponsored in New York and watch as the folks so serious about being Ninjas that they couldn't even crap themselves before punching their mom's in the throat because they've never unclenched at any point in their lives. Watch the lifeless, humorless unified movements and their translation into lifeless, hunorless unified minds.
Why Tanemura lets him keep his teaching license I'll never know.

Remeber McDojo != Bullshido. Bullshido mean he faked or lie about his credentials. That isn't true. He is license from Tanemura to teach Genbukan Ninpo (even though I saw the other day, his dojos aren't listed on the Genbukan Site anymore, I do wonder what that is about). Hence his isn't Bullshido.
Are they a McDojo. Basically, in the sense their are $, contracts, etc. However, having trained with ALOT of his Black Belts, trust me, the majority of them are really good and do compete. Personally, I am not a fan of the Okinwan stuff he inserted into his school, however I do agree with the why. He wants his students to be exposed with all types of training, not just Ninpo and is open to cross training.
As for training the kids (even as young as 3). Its like playing soccer, or basketball. Its an after shcool activity. He has "Junior" Black Belts, which in the Genbukan are the equivalent to 4th Kyu. Why is that wrong?
As for him. He is a business man. There is nothing wrong with that. He books are meant to share insights he has. He is VERY successful, if you don't care, don't buy his book. Personally, he is one of the few people I know who have that many students and keep the quality of training realitvely high.
I have a VERY high respect for Allie Renchi.

This may be a proximity thing. I've been in the general area long enough to have seen a few waves of his people and watch him build his little empire rather then run into a few of his people here and there.

Originally posted by FitzEver take a look at the other credentials he claims, such as that Yodan in "Circle of One" American Ninjutsu? Second generation "Koga Ryu" Ron Duncan Bullshido. That was the main thing he was teaching under until the 1998 on Long Island when he was promoted to Shodan in the Genbukan and began to use Tanemura name to bring in students. Is what he is doing a total fake? Nope. Is is scammy enough to raise eyebrows and make people ask "What the fuck?" Yes, in spades.

Also I believe in the Beginner's Guide to Ninpo, he does say that Circle of One Ninjutsu is "American Ninjutsu" and not real.

If we were opening at say seven year olds I'd have less of an issue. Taking little junior in for any of the activities you mentioned before major bone formation is just asking for long term trouble and anyone dumb enough to accept a student at that age is either a terminal moron or a greedy son of a bitch with questionable ethics.
