The Wife's taken up Kick Boxing... and she hates it

So the Wife started training in Kick Boxing in order to support our friend who was widowed last summer

She has always expressed dislike for any form of martial art, so i was most surprised when she announced she was going to take up KB for 4 weeks in September

Now she's two gradings in, and still going strong

It's like some kind of cult!

    Advice?

Well, welcome back to the fold !

How was your potato crop last year ? I got about 100 lbs or so from my small plot.

Soon, she will be kicking your ass even more than before.

Hey, that's great. I tried to get my wife into Kickboxing years ago but it never took.

This thread was started in YMAS. I’m curious as to why Doof and my post were thrown in Trollshido?
Shut the hell up and train.

Agreed. It should be pretty easy to find a replacement wife there for him. Bring cash though.....

I’m planning pink fir apples this year, currently chitting in the shed.

                        Good choice

Mayan Gold and Sante this season in addition to the pink firs (Chef's favourite)

I'm a bit stuck for space so I'm doing about 9 in 3 spud bags. That will be it for me. Can't get a local allotment so I'm trying out square foot gardening in the back yard this year. If nothing else it will save on the salad bill..

I haven't seen that variety around here, looks tasty.

I like Yukon Gold, but mine, for some reason, would not chit.

I have to get them going earlier this year. The Red/dark red Norlands did pretty good, but I left them in the ground a bit long. The Russets did well, should have planted more of them. I planted another variety of reds, can't remember what, supposedly and later early variety than Norlands. They turned out OK.

My normal supplier of exotic seed got off to a late start, and did not have any seed for sale until after I wanted to get stuff chitting/sprouting.

In any case, we are in no danger of running out of potatoes yet. I think I still have 2 full boxes in straw in the garage.

Tater plants in left background, behind the carrots. That's a winter rye cover crop in front.
