except those hoping to graduate,

or those rare dissertations that move the world,

which was certainly not mine, nor yours.

Largely, doctoral programs and academic doctorates are parasitic elements

to justify sucking tax dollars to pay often shoddy teachers far more than they are worth.

My own doctoral advisors were all exceptions,

a harvard doctorate among them, and all 4 vets, and industry consultants, and business owners themselves.

But they all share my skepticism regarding the problems in academia, and the system, in general.
