    I noticed.. I tried some grappling after class with an MMA guy and considering that I was training regularly, cardio for grappling wasn't much better than novice. and all I did was resist and stall him.

    Fun fact, but no, in part Striking is a lot of pushing muscles, Grappling is a lot of pulling muscles.
    Their are also different Core muscles that engage as well as having to move another person around.
    However, you could you know go try it out, and find out.
