You still can't. You telegraph and hold it out there like you're waiting for some kind of applause. Like you've watched punching on a video and you've attempted to mimic it without understanding the mechanics behind it.

To be honest every time you do a strike video it shows me you've done a lot of Kata or Pumsee. You exaggerate every thing and hold it. Like each move is to be judged by some one for its beauty and finese as opposed to it actually being practical and doing actual damage or serving a function.

Compounded by the fact that you seem to do more strikes against the air than against a bag or anything to show impact.

Think you'd be good for it. No bullshit. Fight choreography is a whole art in on itself and being able to sell a punch without it doing much damage and being held long enough for an audience to understand that some thing was thrown would be right up your alley. Just don't confuse it with actual combat.

So if all Jon Jones ever did in his life was TaeKwonDo (I recognize those kicks...) he would get fucked up?

I always find it naive that people think arts win or loss.

Why not just make one long video instead of all the short ones.

Then you only need to blur one video.

Is this a martial arts forum?

Even natural athleticism and fighting spirit will only take you so far and some arts would limit or hinder what could be a naturally great fighter if they're not teaching anything practical or useful. Do you think Jon Jones would be UFC champion if he instead took up Yellow Bambo(look it up) or Aikido?

He'd probably get some mileage out of TKD sure but that still doesn't change the fact that pure TKD wouldn't prepare him for ground work or adequate punching ability.

Only naive idiots are unable to see the weakness in their arts and are unable to fathom the idea of filling in the gaps, holes or flaws.

Boxing has flaws and weaknesses, Muay Thai does, submission wrestling, full contact kickboxing and even MMA. That's why most here either cross train to fill in those gaps or are quite happy and content with the style and regardless of weakness because they understand they're doing it for fun above martial ability.

Nobody trains TaeKwondo or any other art for that matter to box on the streets. Boxing on the streets will get your hands broken. Period. Anybody who does groundwork on the streets is going to get killed (slammed, kicked in the head etc.). There are no soft mats for you to pull guard. Double leg takedowns on the street is not the smartest idea either.

                      .
No, that's my point. At the end of the day, any art that kicks and punches is more than enough. How it's trained is up to you and your partner. I have had more than enough full contact sparring and will try to tone it down from here on. Don't need it. Jones uses spinning back kicks, side kicks, back fists, head kicks more than his wrestling. I don't remember the last time I saw him grappling for any length of time. So if you told him right now that he can't wrestle anymore, it wouldn't have mattered. Nobody even dares grab his leg anyway.

If Jon Jones took up Aikido, Aikido would become the new Pitfighting.

I'd learn Aikido from Jon Jones.

Mate I'm convinced you've never sparred or even thrown a punch at another human. Your only proof of martial prowess is single technique videos and one of you punching something on your bed.

The rest of the shit you've wrote just proves that you still don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Aikido is actually more dangerous to yourself than not doing Aikido.

Go do some groundwork on the streets and see how that works out of you.
