Incel QANON loser decides to go on shooting spree, dies immediately

I'd put pictures or screen shots of this idiot up but its not worth my time.

There's a picture of him wearing one of Jordan Peterson's lobster shirts, holding the rifle in front of a Christmas tree at his parents house.

Maybe don't buy your disgruntled unemployed loser son an automatic rifle. That would have bought a lot of boxing lessons or a gym membership or, fuck, something that might be construed as a reason to leave the nest or be a man.

I like to keep up with political stuff, and from what I can see the authorities aren't entirely sure what his motives were. He seemed to make a lot of jokes about various issues, but it doesn't seem to say what exactly he believed in. I would reckon this was a lot of mental health issues, because he always seemed to make jokes and spit out platitudes, but he didn't seem to ever go in-depth with any of what he said. At least, that's what my research said. FBI also said he was discharged from the army in 2017, but it didn't tell us why. I tried to search army records but I couldn't find anything. Mainly because I don't know how to search army records. He probably was just some nut case, but he may have released some manifesto like all the active-shooter type people are doing now.

I'd reckon the mass media people are either going to ignore him because no one was really hurt, or they're going to use him as an example of "how everyone we don't agree with must be silenced"

Well, I don't consider Q-Anon to be a political representation so much as a group of blinded by their own retardation conspiracy theory loons.

As for a manifesto apparently he posted something about killing socialists, commies, liberals and blah, blah, blah. Something about being the sword of justice or something retarded like that.

Without a doubt, a fucking nutjob but Q-Anon draws those limpdick dipshits like flies as far as I can tell.

Their brand is specialized. You can probably find worse but I'm not interested in doing the footwork to post screen caps of his brand of stupid.

I wonder what his actual beliefs were, aside from empty platitudes like "BOOGALOO." If we can find posts about actual beliefs discussed in depth we could rule out mental illness. I'm curious just how far the rabbit hole goes with this dude. I remember being fascinated by what was going on in Elliot Rodger's mind, about all those dudes. Not because I'm a "fan" per se, but just out of morbid curiosity

For the uninformed, this is Brian Isaak Clyde, in Dallas. There's video of the shooting on NBC, et al. It appears, at this time, that Clyde was the only casualty.

I think the only reason this is getting play is because there's video. It's an unfortunately unremarkable event, otherwise. But, hey, any chance to say "guns are bad," and "crazy military guys," I guess is OK, and even better if you've got video.

I am aware that 101 Airborne is a big organization, and famous, so noteworthy; but, even if he was legit 101, his MOS could have been something really benign, like 42R (i.e. band geek).

I'm not a psych professional but I suspect that, if I was, I'd diagnose Rodger as a suicidal malignant narcissist who decided on death by cop. Thing is, in order to muster up the courage to take that action, he first had to manufacture something approximating a human motivation (hence his cobbled-together "incel" manifesto).

If you take an actual look, the online communities supporting incels and other extremist types (pro-Ana/pro-Mia, "targeted individuals", etc.) are clearly maintained by people with diagnosable mental illnesses. Tragically, they gather in online echo chambers that redefine their illnesses as ideological subcultures and too often end up dying and/or killing in service to those subcultures.

I think it's getting play because he showed up armed to conduct an act of domestic terror and the reason it's not getting as much as it could is because someone blasted his brains out before anyone got killed.

Guns are just fine but what this guy really needed was better judgement.

I think it’s hilarious because this nerd showed up decked out in $29.99 worth of gear from Cheaper Than Dirt, with his shoes untied, holding his magazine in his dominant hand, playing ninja dress up and got fucking smoked. Run up, get done up.

In the research I've done into the weird and wonderful world of internet losers, it always starts like that, with people coming looking for support. Then they run into an echo chamber, and they get radicalized. Most of them are content to just be losers, but some, like our friend Elliot Rodger, decide to "enact revenge" on the mainstream populace. That's what my research into incels has revealed. I've been reading up on them for years. I guess you could say I'm an "incelologist"

I don't know how it works with other groups, maybe its the same thing with different names. "Nature wears the color of the spirit" as the Transcendentalists say.

That's not a good answer but I still got hope that you're not who Joe thinks you might be.

I just want to establish something right now as insurance against rabbit droppings.

On a scale of 1 to 10, are you the smartest person ever, an "expert" in electronic security with this hand on the heartbeat of the intelligence community, a finger up the butt of the NSA or otherwise an "expert" in any other fields of serious study either academic or otherwise?

We have our own Bugs Bunny around here and he's not funny. He's got problems that we can't help him with and I don't think that it's healthy for him to hang out here.
