"The Art of Self Defense" Movie

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bms6Hba-3A

Looks more interesting than I expected it to be.

I certainly recognize from personal experience the pathetic self-delusion and wishful thinking.

I'm fucking keen. Love that dark comedy element. The throat punch had me giggling hardcore. I knew something was going to happen, but it still came out of nowhere and cracked me up.

                  *spoilers ahead*

I just watched it. That was a great movie. Way darker than I was expecting. The dialogue was all really stiff and weird, but there was a few great laughs. The tradition of the index finger punch through the brain revealed was such a great climax. Its a cool ouroboros of a story too. A lot of it reminded me of the thread about Patenaude's kung fu up north and other horror stories on Bullshido. Highly recommend.

This doesn't even seem like a comedy to me.

What's so funny about the premise?

This movie is happening in real life every day across American, somewhere.
