Its seems like a fine line with dog judo. I mean a simple De ashi harai sounds like it would be just funny and pretty harmless. But an O Goshi or Tomoe nage sounds like animal abuse.

Although I can't help but laugh thinking about some small yappy dog getting flung by a Tomoe nage...

I am still trying to process the idea of ‘tree rat’. Worse, a shaker bag full of them.

And Dr Murphy ‘s warm and fuzzy swiftly turning into a dispassionate assessment of K9 as a food source in times of natural disaster.

Brains are good with scrambled eggs. Haven't tried dog. I think.

I don't mind the taste of brains, and I also enjoy all kinds of liver products, and they both sometimes have that for lack of a better description slightly metallic flavor sensation along with their other flavor and texture.

Little worrisome about prion diseases, but of course that it is not just brains, but any flesh to close to the spine and nervous system organ systems.

Might be too late for me, because I have eaten too many plates of brains.

              Tree rats are good protein.

A bit lean though, you're well served to add some fat to them in my opinion, whether lard, or bacon, or butter, or whatever your favorite fat is.

Possum's not bad, but raccoon is better.

If you want me to eat some Hoover Hog, aka armadillo, deep fry a thigh.

Otherwise, armadillo is not my favorite.

I understood the first time, but thank you for the clarification joe .

When my husband first cooked brains during our early days of marriage, I cried. He was also in the dog house. Who would kiss a man who eats yucky stuff??!!!

                            Rodents are all edible AFAIK.

                            Marsupials, too, would assume.

Aboriginal Americans ate dog. Still done around the world.

Airgun, or if you are game, a slingshot.

                                Nothing against the .22LR

                                But the alternatives are compelling.

PCP or gas piston airgun is the big dilemma.

I have both, and both have their F/B.

Slingshot if you are a stud, though.
