Dude just says everything wrong.

Second, as a more general point not relating to the blast double at all which many people do anyway despite the neck risk, it's a catch 22 to study technique from Jordan Burroughs, the guy does a lot of things a little unorthodox-ly, and he is a bit of an unusual specimen regarding his physical performance, much like Roy Jones Jr was in boxing.
I am not saying that his wrestling game can't be replicated, I am just saying that he is an unusual case study in wrestling from a couple different points of view.Last edited by Dr. Gonzo; 4/25/2017 2:11pm, .

I teach the blast, but for me personally I like cutting the corner like Henderson teaches. From there you can switch between leg takedowns, body locks or If they resist my takedowns too much I just jump on their back standing and lock a body triangle.

And there is a group of high school type wrestling coaches in the Maryland area that annoyingly call the high crotch the "head outside single".
I use the nomenclature high crotch (head outside), single leg (means head on inside for my nomenclature), and double leg myself.
I call the rape choke, "the unconsensual choke."
