But, I have heard other folks, especially when I moved to Florida call it the wizard.
What part of PA did you grow up in?

This seems like a good way to handle the whole pancaking thing.

Though I am sure most people do protect their chin better than the author did.

LOL, it's all good if they guy gives it to you like that, of course. The trick is to catch the transition quickly.

If he is trying to show some sort of stop-action in the middle of a transition while the turtle is still open, I get it.

Otherwise, it's like a lot of turtle attacks you see, the turtle is so open you could turn it with a spatula.

When I was wrestling the "jap whizzer" was an over the shoulder toss while a "whizzer" was just an over hook on the body or arm.

My coach used to do the same thing.

Maybe it's a South East US thing?

So now that Travis won the silver medal using a lot of ground work this blog entry is even more important than ever.
Especially as the BJJ community is eating it up like crazy not seeing that what Travis did was indeed Judo.

Now, it's a "protected blog" so I can't read the original entry.

In order to find the truth of life, one must see "The Whizzer."

Consider for a moment that there is no meme about brown-haired, brown-eyed step children.
