Yeah, it's easier. I've had mixed success with yields, but have known others who did better.

Besides, I like going out and piling more dirt up around the growing plants, and then digging the potatoes. It's like a treasure hunt ! My boys were a big help last time, then got to eat the results, as they had helped me plant them as well.

Whoa, you just caused me and the entire population of Sweden to have violent flashbacks to Christmas eve, with that single picture. As to why, well, that would take a real internet-sleuth to figure out.

Yeah, you can stack tires, use heavy duty garbage bags, make stack-able boxes, etc. I like to just put them in the ground, but if limited space then those things work.

    These are for pussies.

BTW, these plants look too green

    I use this thing:

    It develops the chi.

This seems like a great idea.

Exactly. If you're gonna be a Rabbit you're going to have to stop being a fish. That's all there is to it.

No, I don't go off searching for things involving goats just because I get curious...that path leads to the Dark Side.

    Did goatse.cx teach you nothing?

No, I mean a place to buy, with house, room for a garden, animals, all that fun stuff. We are renting currently, and have room for a garden and our Muscovy ducks, but chose not to plant anything as we though we would be moving out. No garlic, no potatoes, wahhhhh.....

We had a garden last year and the year before.

It's a good system, you use the exercise of digging potatoes to develop chi along with eating potatoes to further develop the sea of qui.

    It's a win-win situation for sure !

Try not to hurt your back, unless of course you are going to use one of these or something similar.
