We need enemies though, to function. We're nothing without enemies. All of our opponents are gone too. Where is KFDW? Omar? Springer? Ronin69? Wastrel? Shartliner?

Which would help create new content. So, no, not incorrect just extremely general. I'll let you post all of the inner workings and business side all by yourself. I like to be vague about business workings.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you really aren't helping.

The spam filter is so high, we have to manually approve new member posts. I'm one of the few mods who still checks in regularly. I can't catch everything so, I've approved missed posts/threads up to a week later. Before you ask, no it isn't just one or two members. I'd say one day it was roughly twenty new threads and members. So, just imagine how many have been missed.

I mean shit, one new guy hit down vote instead of upvote on accident and Dale tore him a new asshole right than and there. I mean the dude even apologized and shit. And now he doesn't post anymore. And the community continues to get increasingly barren.

I don't know what happened to Dale. He used to be like a cross between a sweet hippie uncle and a teddy bear that breaks bricks and makes jow. He had a warm open invitation to all seekers of dank ass tea parties and the real kung fu. (Iirc he still does)
But the tone of YMAS is so acrid. The people who rive here develop a rather bitting style of quip.
I would like to say Dale is one of then coolest, most genuine and most generous members here. You just gotta talk to him like a man and not like a troll.

I see how newcomers could be alienated. The rules are kind of opaque to a first timer and the culture can be antagonistic. Jhmo, I don't think a change of rules or culture would be good for Bullshido at all but perhaps a gentler aproach to newbies would help?
Maybe spend more time bringing them into the fold an explaining things then gleefully tearing them apart when they cross a line they didn't know was there.

    Just a thought...
LOL. You just mixed Dale with patfromlogan. Yes, Dale is cool, but he has ALWAYS been fiery and acerbic when you are disrespectful in his eyes.

The term I used the other day is "culture density"

Bullshido has a culture density problem. It is a old, and due to the referential depth of interacting with an iceburg of culture, turning into a little bit of an ol boys club.

Eh, there was nothing going on in 2013 in the first place. To get back to our mission, we need to stop infighting, assert ourselves (ie. not delegate authority to orgs like Kukkiwon), and publish hard hitting, controversial shit.
