to be fair, bread can be a total pain in the ass to bake. my wife is a talented cook, and can bake things like scones and has even made croissants, but despite many attempts has failed to produce a simple whole wheat loaf.

Google bread in 5 minutes a day. If she can't produce using that method, and it works, 'cause I can do it, then she's not a talented cook.
