Is it true that with MT you never want to hit in an upward motion? I was under the impression that with the sciatica kick to the thigh that you are swinging in a slightly upwards chopping motion with your shin. I would never try to swing it downward. You don't generate nearly as much force.

What the fuck is this? According to his channel page he is a pro MT fighter and a Golden Glove Boxer. What the hell is this shit? And why does he have a Street vs. MMA video. You would think that he would know better.

I think its pretty obvious from his punching technique that this guy has never punched without gloves on. His how to punch like a boxer video is a pretty prime example of this. Do you want to punch like a boxer in a street fight? Do you have time to get your hand wraps and gloves on?

Yeah. It always seemed pretty obvious to me that the punching I learned during MT training would not translate well when done without hand protection of some sort. I always thought that if I didn't have gloves on I would just stick to elbows, knees, and shins for striking.
