It certainly has been a long, long time. How many years? I figured it's been so long that I should consider myself a "newbie" here and introduce myself again. I'm guessing a few things have probably changed (they actually probably haven't) with this forum. Certainly, everything about my life has.
First off, I'm now running a branch of the Detroit Ving Tsun school. Now, as much as everyone here likes to hate on _ing _hun (very deservedly), I can guarantee that we at least have the most bad-ass chunner kwoon around. Common complaints I've heard about our school are things like "They are too hard-core!" and "They expect too much!" and "They are too serious!" and "They hit too damn hard!" I figure that's not too bad for a kung fu school. We still don't teach kids either, which means we may be about the only kung fu school in the world with enough adults to pay its bills.
Also, I'm not a sifu. Let's just make sure that is clear as well. Everything in Detroit is still run under Sifu Owen Matson.
Speaking of people who listen to Metal, is McClaw still around? What about my old buds like Moose, DerAuslander/JB (Jiggle Butt?), Stick, Fox, Plasma, Maverick, FFF, Tom Kagan, etc., etc.? I miss those old days at Hooters, watching Moose try to choke me while girls in hotpants walk by to distract me. Their food is still shit though. I'm guessing there haven't been many UFC nights anywhere or any more Throwdowns since I've been gone though. So I hope some of you guys miss me, since gone were the days of backyard bbqs and a warm pool after a day of getting kicked in the dick. I'm still doing Youmacon each year though. Which reminds me, I didn't find anyone to get a picture with this year! I'm sure McClaw was probably selling his chain-mail at Cobo though.

Now, I'm sure that you guys are all wondering: what about Dagon's personal life!!!! First off, I've stopped dating church girls. Fucking whores. Also, that bitch tried to stab me and got arrested: twice. I did a bit more tabloid worthy stuff that I'm sure you'd all be interested in, but I think I learned my lesson. I think. And my lesson was:
American girls are terrible. Stay away from them.
Then I started dating a German Au Pair. You'd all know the people she lived with when she was here in America, btw. Her host-mom is the blond lady in all of those "Fight Science" shows. And I got to have Thanksgiving dinner with them last year. Thanksgiving dinner next to the two Emmys on the shelf. Awesome, awesome people. And cool meeting someone in real life who I had seen in videos on Bullshido 100 times before.
I got back from my first visit to Germany about a month ago, and am now planning to move there. None of their _ing _un places seemed to want me to make a visit though, so I'm still working on that. I've worked with some German chunners here though. Let me say that I think I can take them in chi sao ;) Germany is awesome though, and I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. Let me show you something here. This is my girlfriend's front yard, along with her seven cows. And her house is older than our country.
Spoiler:
HER HOUSE IS OLDER THAN OUR COUNTRY! My girlfriend is back their for college though. Why? Because college here would cost tons of money (and Germans find getting loans to be insanely uncomfortable), and there it's only around 500 Euro a year.... and that includes books since my girlfriend just checked all her books out at the library. She's a math/engineering major, so maybe it's just that I'm dating someone logical and rational: Vulcan girls who run half-marathons are hot.
Seriously guys, I'm loving life right now, and have more giant challenges than I've ever had before, but they are all awesome challenges that are very worth it. So there's that. I'll avoid posting pics of the new lady though. I've done enough of that in the past of different girls. Let me assure you though: she's the hottest one ever and looks great in yoga pants. ;)
Spoiler:
Anyway, flame away. I'm sure some people have missed me. ;) Or, go ahead and ask some questions about Ving Tsun, Germany, running a school, etc. etc. etc. Our schools are near the stadiums in Detroit (Eastern Market), and at 10 1/2 and Greenfield (just north of 696). And feel free to drop in and see what non-slappy, non-pussy kung fu is like if you're in the area and that's your sort of thing
