    Bully logo?

    Hi everyone.

I've tried searching the forum as well as google, and haven't been able to find what I'm after, so I'm hoping you can help point me in the right direction.

I'm looking for a high-resolution pic of either:

    • The Bullshido logo with the bull's head, OR
    • The Bullshido bully, complete with MMA gloves and fight shorts, OR
    • The Bullshido 'no bull' logo (circle w. line going through it, but it has bull's horns), as in http://www.bullshido.net/images/no-bull-100.png

The reason: I'd like have a Bullshido gi patch made!

(Wait, perhaps I should ask first: No-one at BS would mind that, right? I'm not exactly planning to sell them or anything.)

So, last night I tried getting a little creative. I'm still on the lookout for an original hi-res version though, so if anyone has any idea where to find it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

So here's what I did (you may have to click each image individually to see any real, detailed changes).

I used this image from one of the T-shirt threads as my starting point:

Size:	12.0 KB

I cut out the Bully (approx 130x160 px)

I rescaled him (approx 800x1000 px) - obviously the image is now very pixelated.

Size:	21.9 KB

I then used GIMP's threshold tool to reduce the image to just black and white.

    Coloured in a little.

Some added lines drawn in (so that the bucket-fill tool would work properly).

Size:	24.7 KB

Coloured in fully, eyes not yet added:

Used the dilate tool to thin out the bold black lines. Eyes added.

Size:	23.1 KB

Lines smoothed out with one of GIMP's filters.

    Black lines thinned out further.

And, to finish off, a cloth-like texture added on top:

        Great work there.

I'd kind of like a hi-res patch-style logo myself, I'm looking at getting a custom rashguard from subguards.com and I'd really like to include a Bullshido logo in the design.

Cheers. I hadn't even considered the rashguard!

I'd planned on getting a personalised one later this year when (or rather, if) I get my blue belt. Blue sleeves, Gracie Barra logos, and now the bully.

And I'm pretty sure you'll want to get permission off the site owner before reproducing the logo.
GET A RED BELT OR DIE TRYIN'.

Of course. (Also the OP stated that at the end of his first post)

that's how i got my awesome avatar. i sent him a picture of me in my uniform and since i have the same body type as the bully, it was a simple matter for him to whip up the southern kung fu bully for me.

You can flip through the Bullshido archives at the Wayback machine (archive.org)...lots of old pics there, like

Well hell, if people are wanting patches and stuff, we should think seriously about doing them in bulk so that everyone who wants one can get one. Plus, that way they'll be cheaper.

Anyone know of a good place to get patches made?

Do you guys want another T-shirt run? We really don't keep inventory on-hand, so we usually do them as a pre-order. If we can get as few as 10 people to commit to a design, I can get them run and in your hands in a few weeks.

I was thinking of trying NHBGear for the patch:

                          http://www.nhbgear.com/Custom-Patches-c-17.html

They do discounts if you buy in bulk.

I would buy a patch for sure. I probably would get a shirt too, my old one(Mid Life Crisis Fight Team) is getting faded. And my rupture/bullshido rashguard has a bunch of holes in it now.

If there are T-shirts, patches or designs for rashies going I'd certainly buy them as long as posting was available outside the US.
