Sure you can, just not in the TMA forum. Thanks

Regardless of how you or others feel about aikido (which I might add is generally correct) no one here including you (other than staff members perhaps) has the right to stop or derail people having a serious discussion on their chosen activity.

The TMA forums were created to give TMAers the opportunity of discussing Traditional Martial Arts - warts and all - that will inevitably contain topics which would otherwise draw scorn from people such as you however, this place isn't MAP it will never be MAP thus, whilst these subjects will come up from time to time, if the questions associated with these topics are presented in a genuine way from someone who has an interest then how about cutting some slack within the TAM forums and allow people like myself, DCS and others who understand the pitfalls and bullshit of such arts (aikido in this case) to educate those who don't know better. If they're willing to listen to reason then the thread remains on track and within the realms of a serious discussion, if however, it devolves into a conversation of nonsense then it will get moved, here most likely or Trollshido, then feel free to haze such idiots to death. Just don't do that in the TMA forums, that's all I ask.

I'd like to encourage discussion which would otherwise be shied away from, that way people, including you can offer information which educates rather than berates. After all this is a consumer website and it stands to reason that if we can let the unsuspecting know what the issues are with their studies/arts/attitudes then we're doing what this site does best, IMHO.

For all the throws the Judoka gave out, the Ukemi in Aikido protected him, and he was smaller. By that measure alone, Aikido demonstrated merit.

Judo is designed to land your opponent safely.

It goes without saying, but I'll say it again anyway.. There's simply not enough reality checks in shitty martial arts training.
If you keep taking aikido out of context, you will remain confused. Educate yourself about aikido, it's origins, it's founder, roots and history, and it will make more sense to you.

You may be right, I found a local pie for local people down in the New Forest last year, and they were pretty frikking good, even after days crushed in the icebox.

Putting a pie in a tin can was a stroke of genius.

Seriously, Afganistan has made you soft.
