Sheeit, at least you're lucky enough with the option of training in what you want to train in. I'm in TKD/HKD country....trying to find what I want out here is like finding a needle in a Korean haystack.

I'm just full of fail right now.
It's winter, exam period and I should be at training right now.

I'm right there with you, mate.

Would that also be equivalent to sporting a Modern Army Combatives t-shirt even though you haven't even gone through the Level 1 course(hopefully will soon thanks to my 1SG)? 'Cause I'm slightly guilty of that one, too. -_-' I'm just full of fail right now.

    *shakes head*

    Pokebitch.

There's guys at my gym who wear tap out stuff. Some of them can kick my ass so I allow it. The others are the ones who turn up for two lessons, buy a dojo shirt and vanish.

Not really, I always stay true to myself.

  • I did what I promised myself I'd never do....

....and bought a piece of TapouT apparel....shorts to be exact. Saw them at the PX and thought "I know I'll look like a douche when I wear them...buuuut, they look so damn comfy, its hot as a mug out here, and the other, more fashionable shorts, seem to always be out of stock in my size." So yeah, I risked looking like a poser for the sake of comfort...and to a lesser extent, fashion. I shall hang my head in shame now....and make sure to always hold a non-aggressive posture whenever I wear them out and about(or I may just do the opposite and always have MMA gloves and a mouth guard on deck...then start random fights where I implore people to get in my guard).

Have any of you ever broken a promise to yourself for the sake of comfort and/or fashion?
