Let's just say....their F's always sound like P's.... Por example: "I hab many pocking pilipino priends dat like to pight at da pestibal."

Thanks to my many years of living in San Diego where there are Pinoys/ays galore....my ability to mimic a "Pilipino" accent is almost spot on....plus it helps to listen to a lot of Rex Navarrete(sp?).

funny thing is, those who are considered "upper class" here are the ones who has that accent. the ones from lower middle class and below sounds better. all thanks to the BPO industry perhaps?

Bleh, don't even get me started on "upper class" Filipinos...I used to HATE those old, upper class Filipinas that would come into my old job, treat me like some lower class servant, then NOT leave a dag gone tip......all I can say to that is, putanginamo....

But yeah, my gf is a lower middle class pinay...and she definitely can pronounce F sounds decently...although, I do find it funny that she refers to any gender in the feminine(i.e. when referring to a male, she'll always say "she or her").
