If yes, I'll allow the shirt. If no, see my above post.
Yes, yes I have...no one of rank, though(i.e. they were either beginners in no-gi JJ like me or just some drunk friends).

If yes, I'll allow the shirt. If no, see my above post.

PS - My most frequently worn T-Shirts:
    Flash
    Superman (Kurt Buseik)
    Aquaman
    Green Lantern (Kurt Buseik)
    Superman (symbol)

I can't draw and have no superpowers. I don't even read comics anymore. I am a poser. I am sure that people who train in superpowers and drawing make fun of me. But boy are those T-Shirts comfy, so fukkem.

You know what, I have two TapouT hats. One of them is personally signed by Randy Couture and I wear it all the time because it is a great hat. I also have a Henley hat, a straw cowboy hat, two flat brimmed Billabong caps, an Akubra and a fucking beanie, all of which can be and are worn over a bandanna, or I just wear a bandanna. The only time I ever paid more than $15 for a hat was the Akubra, which was $115 (it is an Australian Icon, I am an Australian Icon, so I was willing to pay the premium).

You wanna know what hats are used for when not being a fashion accessory? They are used to...wait for it... create a shadow on the wearers face and eyes to offer one form of protection from the sun. In Australian summers they can be a necessity.

They're clothes, for fuck sake. If they are cheap and work with your style/ practical needs, fuck any cunts opinion. If you get on the mat and rub your balls in their face while singing "Bodies Hit The Floor" wearing Chanel no 5 with a fucking My Little Pony tattoo on your neck, does it matter what they think of you? The fact that you are concerned over how you will be perceived in shorts is poserish in itself. Hell, if you do the above you might start a trend.

I'm sure I am not immune to the OP's fashion insecurities, but I realised after working for a while in a store that sells TapouT, Affliction and SilverStar that I train, I am not a poser and I will rock whatever I feel comfortable in wearing. In the past I have made fun of posers in MMA apparel. I established they were posers first.

Fuck the critics. Do your thing.

You have 2 options to save face:
Throw out your TapouT and get a Windy T.
Or get some TapouT shin guards or other training gear.

Otherwise I will make fun of you and we don't want that do we?

Do you know what post? If he goes to Osan or Camp Carrol....they've actually got MMA classes I think twice a week for free(and I'm pretty sure its not just MACP). Unfortunately for me, neither Osan or Carrol are close enough to MY whereabouts to warrant spending dough on a taxi ride...or riding the post to post bus.

I'm planning on checking out a near by HKD dojang that also advertises kickboxing on its window...but if my suspicions are correct, and its just a ploy to get us silly miguk into their dojang, I may just go to the boxing gym that one of my NCOs goes to. Supposedly one of the trainers(some pinoy gent) fought Pacquiao in the P.I. before he got uber famous.
