Judo Tournament results: I was 30lbs lighter and was the lowest ranked person there.
Nothing else? No making fun? Nothing? :( I'm giving you guys tons of fodder here and nothing?
This is what happens when you make a respectful, non-trolling post. You get treated like a serious adult. Congratulations on reaching a higher level of maturity.
Rodney or Randy can help you, make sure you work with them as much as possible.

You have no idea how awesome it makes me feel knowing that 20% of your posts are about me.
Don't worry, I have not spoken to either of them in many years, and they would not remember me in any case. My (first) sensei has done Judo with Rodney, I believe, and competed against him at least once in Senior Nationals in the mid 80s. He always spoke highly of the two brothers and their father of course. I watched them compete other times in other national level tournaments. Both are superb technicians.
So, you are in good hands, just make sure to take every advantage of the opportunity you have.

I'm not worried. I just think it's weird and small worldish, you know? Both of them are FANTASTIC Judo instructors. I primarily train under Richard, followed by Randy and then whenever Harou sensei is around, I'll train with him.
Richard is a slave driver with a whip made of success.

Lol. Judo is one of the smallest worlds there is. Pretty much everyone knows everyone else.

I do not know Richard, but it sounds like he is my kind of judo instructor.
I don't know everybody in the world of US Judo, but I do know a few people.
Watched the videos. You are definately developing skills. You can see that you put some weight on too. Good job, keep it up and try not to get injured.

I actually haven't put on any weight. That gi is just an illusion. I am still walking at 150lbs.
