whats a good martial art for crime fighting.

hypotethically if someone wanted to be a non-powered
    hero,like batman,black widow,green arrow in real life
what martial art would be the most effective without
having to take your typical MMA class. would it be judo, kudo
    ashirara karate enshin karate,shidokan karate,sanshou
    JJJ etcc.

was watching Kick ass and the watchmen today and had this

If I was forced to leave out "Typical MMA" I would be left suggesting Kempo, or Hapkido. Hell maybe even Shaolin Wing Chun.

Your question poses alternative questions like, if you didn't want to "have to" take a MMA class, why would you want to prefer to take another type of class?

Additionally being a superhero is complete fantasy. There is a bit of a problem of the idea of doing this for one because its hard to devote a lot of time to learning to kill people and use weapons effectively and still have it a secret to everyone.

But let me indulge in your fantasy for a moment. If I wanted to be able to fight like the heros of Watchmen, batman, or the little girl in Kickass, and I could devote all my time to learning these martial arts, and I had an unlimited selection of MA's to train, and MMA was out of the question, and they were all quality, I would go with Kaijukenbo, Kyokushin, Judo, Kali, Escrima, BJJ, and kickboxing.

Also, be sure to make your own gadgets if you're going to be a superhero. Nobody takes off-the-shelf vigilantes seriously.

For proper hojutsu, be sure to wave something like this around while shouting, "You guys on the corner will never be able to intimidate middle-class white folks again!" then blow the shit out of them. Or, barring that, your own hand.

guys im just kidding I said hypothetically not realistically.
you guys are too serious here.

kykoushin and judo belended with eskrima seem to be the obvious choice.
The reason I said no MMA,because I was wondering what the best complete art
was, that least likely needed to be blended with others.

Obviously Kykoushin and MT need to be supplemented with grappling
but Enshin has more grappling in its style so you want have to cross train as
much even though its recomended. I wasnt trying to diss MMA

I now have it narrowed down to Systema or Shaolin Wing Chun for you Sir. Nothing else will give you what you deserve.

Parkour, body armour, Tazer-stick thingie, Awesome Motorcycle.

Basically what Raphael was doing in the CGI TMNT movie.

Oh wait no that was Ninjutsu. Do Ninjutsu.

Eskrima. Hitting someone with a stick works. Or a purse!

He said a non-powered hero. Systema and Wing Chun don't qualify, according to them.

Oh... wait... I see what you did there.

In all honesty I think the answer has to be boxing, judo and power armor.
