IMHO it would be better if you can go meet people who attend those clubs so you can get feedback from them or better yet from the instructors themselves. I am looking for some good clubs in my area myself. I generally agree, from their site the bjj club looks more legit.

I say kickboxing because, one it is wicked fun, and two the pics had a bunch of hot chicks in the class! Win, win!!!

Finally a newbie who has done some research! I'm leaning towards the BJJ place too, the Muay Thai club looks anal with all the belt tests and '100 pushups for being late' You're adults, you shouldn't be getting punished for getting stuck in traffic. Both look quite decent with legit instructors, but the MT place looks like its run by arseholes. Try both and see what you enjoy most.

Hell, you could always do both. That'd give you an excellent base.

The kickboxing place looks like cardio kickboxing, no fight team is always a worrying sign. If you don't like the BJJ place look around for a different MT or boxing gym imo.

Haha. No yawning or else you have to do 50 push ups.

That kickboxing place seemed whacked out to me. If they break out the Kool Aid, don't drink it!
