The TD in Concord was alot of fun and the location is all for more, maybe every two months. So lets plan a thing in March.

I propose the weekend of the 15th/16th. That would be palm sunday weekend for those Christians and the start of spring break from some people.

Saturdays are best for me.

I have a wedding at 4 that day, and next weekend I will hopefully be on vacation. If it were the weekend before i could make it, or if it was earlier in the day. The sooner I know, the easier to schedule appts around.

I lived over on a street called Vinton, but this was a while ago (18 years). Most people say "huh" when you mention the Palms district.

As far as the throwdown goes, I'll try to make it, even though the family usually takes priority. I'll try and make a break for it, though.

You guys are missing the point with DTT, he's experimented in a limited degree with grappling and even organized a throwdown to broaden his experience.

His issues are not one of weather he is beaten by a blue belt on the ground or not.

The big issue with DTT is his loyalty to EBMAS and quest to make it work.

the problem is he shouldn't be worried about turning Boezteps martial art system into something more functional, instead he should be looking at turning DTT's own martial art more functional,

I am not saying DTT you should abondon what you know, but as long as you try to make Boezteps theory's on anti-grappling work, even by studying some grappling your going to fail.

Boeztep had his chance years ago to pressure test his stuff and evolve and develop an empirical based system on things that work under the worst conditions.

He didn't do this, not because he was afraid of physical harm but because of ego.

Instead he constructed anti-grappling under a theoretical scenario that only works in his system.

My suggestion to DTT is find a good blue who will come to your home gym once a week and have him do a grappling course for you and your students.

I'll roll with whoever wants.

I called it Central Cali not because its in the Bay, but because people from the middle of the State, i.e. Redding to Fresno, Tahoe to Frisco, should try to attend.

Switchb wants it the weekend before or ealier in the day. Feb is here allready so the weekend B4 is only about 5 weeks away. Earlier in the day might work, we did it late because of a kiddy belt test in the school last time. The weekend after is Easter. I am cool with fighting on the reserection, but alot of people will have family stuff.

SO, we are looking at March 8th/9th or earlier in day on March 15th. Lets keep options open for now.
